The Project
TBS wanted a hook, something that would create awareness at the Western Cable Show in Anaheim, California, but
not at the expense of fun. DNA Design, a Breakthrough creative partner, was called in to storyboard and develop
an interactive game show that could connect the dots.
Breakthrough Technologies was engaged to make it work. Building the interactive CD application using
Macromedia Director was one thing, but making it work from three remote keypads integrated into a customized
trade show booth was another. BTI delivered a custom keypad controller that could monitor the PC-based Director
application and game keypads in parallel, while synchronizing the elements in a trade-show caliber product.
The result was a hit, and to date, the TBS SuperStation game has been utilized at numerous trade show appearances across the country. Special
thanks to DNA Design and the TBS staff for a job well done.
