Breakthrough's Image Replication Suite (IRS) is a file transfer platform designed to replicate base and incremental backup images from a local NAS to a secondary repository for off-site safekeeping and selective restore operations.

IRS is comprised of six applications that work in concert to provide a hardened, reliable, fault-tolerant replication solution.

Bundled Applications

Config - configuration interface used to define replication sources, schedules, and notification settings.
Service - background scheduler, task launcher, and process monitoring service.
Copy - stand-alone replication agent, launched from Service application, available for manual or automated execution from the command-line.
Mail - SMTP notification system supporting POP, Exchange, and SSL-secured gateways.
Link - interactive client for manual transfer operations.
Vault - cross-platform file server accepting Link and Copy connections.
